Hamptons Style Plunge Pool

The Challenge

Our clients called Pools by Design to help them navigate getting a pool in their yard in downtown Rehoboth Beach. Downtown has very specific rules and regulations and they wanted an expert to partner with them to make sure they did everything right. With lot coverage always a consideration their pool was designed to maximize swimming space and utilized a newly sodded lawn for their lounge chairs giving the property a fresh Hamptons style. Brush along the back of the fence was cleaned up and removed and classic beach plantings were added to continue to soften the property and added more usable space in the yard.

The Results

Pool Area

With a small pool, the tile and coping selections needed to shine. The homeowners picked a beautiful silver travertine coping for its natural beauty. They paired it with an intricate mosaic tile to compliment the Bella Blue PebbleFina® pool finish.

Patio Area

Due to a lot of coverage specifications, we weren’t able to add patio space. Joe was inspired by the Hamptons and laid the stunning silver travertine coping which runs into a beautiful new sod yard.
