What do you like most about the pool business?
I began my experience in the pool industry in 2008 as a maintenance technician. Coming from a building materials background, pools were somewhat new to me, but I had a general concept of what they entailed or so I thought. I quickly learned how complicated a pool system could really be. Throughout the years I learned to diagnose and repair anything from a basic system to a complicated commercial system with multiple pumps, filters, heaters, etc. I worked my way up to management and then took my experience with maintenance, service, and pool renovations and decided to go out on my own. After a few years of operating my own company, I decided to jump into the world of new pool construction and never looked back. Starting from a standard backyard and transforming it into a personal oasis for a client is the most satisfying thing for me and something that I hold as a sense of personal pride and accomplishment.
What do you like to do in your time off?
Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, 4 children, and too many animals. We currently live in Talbot County on Maryland’s Eastern Shore and love to take advantage of the outdoor activities close by, mostly camping, fishing, kayaking and just being outdoors in general.
Why Ashton Pools
The versatility of Ashton to be able to create a unique environment for any client no matter what the style, feel, or desired functionality is something that most pool companies cannot successfully achieve. The versatility, attention to detail, and quality standards were something that I found myself relating to and wanting to be part of. I am pleased to be a part of a team with such values and commitment to ultimate client satisfaction.
