Our Design Process

Reach Out

After your initial inquiry, we’ll reach out within 24 hours to learn more about your home, goals, and preferred timeline. From there, we’ll schedule a design consultation.

Discovery Meeting

We ask that you provide a recent plat plan or land survey ahead of your discovery meeting. During your appointment, Nicole – one of our owners and design consultants will meet with you in our design studio or via a Zoom call to understand your space and vision. We’ll take photos and notes during this 1–1.5-hour meeting to inform the design.

Site Visit

Before construction begins, one of our designers will also visit your property for a detailed site visit. This step allows us to take measurements, assess access points, check grades, and ensure the design aligns with the natural contours of your space—resulting in a smoother, more accurate build process.

Design

Over the next 1-2 weeks, we’ll develop an initial concept based on your goals and feedback. Using advanced 3D rendering software, our in-house designers will bring your project to life on screen, helping you clearly visualize your future space before a shovel hits the ground. We’re the only pool builder in the area to offer this fully interactive 3D design experience.

Review and Revise

You’ll be invited to our beachside design center to review your 3D design and proposal in stunning detail. Our team will walk you through materials, finishes, and features, and make any updates with you in real time. We’ll also set you up with Buildertrend—our project management software that lets you track progress, approve selections, and get updates from your phone.

Approval and Permits

Once your design is finalized, we’ll provide documents to support HOA approval and begin securing permits from your city or county. Before construction begins, you’ll meet with our customer service representative to review your welcome materials, construction flow sheet, and next steps.

Construction

When the build begins, our crew will treat your property with care and respect. Buildertrend keeps you in the loop with progress photos and milestone updates, and we’ll also send weekly emails so you know what’s coming next.

Pool School and Ongoing Care
